BHP BIKES

Day #6 A Complete Day of Rest #Triumphsontour

Today was the official day of rest for the Triumphs on tour group and thank god, it was nice to know that the bikes were staying put, and we could really just unwind by doing whatever we liked.

The bikes were left exactly where we parked them, and we just enjoyed the relaxing time… it was nice not having to jump on the bike today, but still we were all excited to get back on the bikes the following day and get on with the holiday.

I did have a good look over my bike to make sure the fluids were where they needed to be, and I also noticed that the reason why the ride back from Valencia’s airport was terrible. It was because I had not re adjusted the bike’s suspension back to hard when the wife got on so the front was way up, and that is what made it twitchy so I re adjusted that and hopefully the rest of the ride will be perfect.

We watched vultures soaring overhead and thunderstorms roll in over the mountains, we watched the sun drift across the sky it is what life is all about, and this is what I love about visiting new places and cultures and just absorbing the whole experience.

The beer and wine were flowing, and we all drank throughout the day while the friend of Graemes and Louise came over and cooked the Paella. We all had to keep the fact we were riding the following day in the backs of mind, and also we had a fair amount of miles to hit as well.

We all started getting into the swing of Spanish life as we all sauntered off to our rooms for a siesta and then woke again for more food and banter it was all good fun, and we ate and drank and partied on into the night.
