Celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, motorcycle clothing brand, Richa, has added a number of new jackets to its already extensive collection.
Toulon
CE approved and with D3O armour at the shoulders, elbows and back, you’ll be safe as well as stylish in this premium buffalo leather jacket with a vintage cotton lining and zip-off Polycotton hood. The soft neoprene collar fastens with a press stud closure, while the waist is adjustable using press studs and the sleeve cuff width can be changed using the zip. There’s a short connection zip at the back, an inside pocket with Velcro closure as well as two outer side pockets and one napoleon pocket.
Available in four different colours – black and red, black and blue, black and yellow and plain black – in sizes 36-56, it has an RRP of £249.99.
Lausanne
The new Lausanne jacket for women is made from high quality, supple calfskin leather. Designed with a classic and timeless shape, the jacket has Level 1 CE Approved D3O armour at the shoulders and elbows and includes a back protector as standard. It features waist and sleeve cuff adjustment for the perfect fit and a short connector zipper at the back so it can be attached to Richa trousers. The Lausanne has an inside pocket with Velcro closure and two outer pockets at the sides with zip closures.
Available in black and red – in sizes 6-20 – the Lausanne has an RRP of £249.99.
Hipster
Made from a high quality, tumble-finished hide, the Hipster jacket has ‘pewter’-finish poppers, zips and waist adjustment buckles. It comes with CE certified D3O elbow and shoulder protectors as standard and has a pocket built in to accommodate a D3O back protector (available separately). There’s rib detailing on the shoulders and a six inch connecting zip which allows the jacket to attach to trousers.
Available in sizes 38 – 54, the Hipster jacket has an RRP of £199.99.
Airforce
Alongside the three new leather jackets in the range is the textile Airforce jacket. Made from high density Polyamide combined with full mesh panels, the Airforce has reinforced oxford fabric on the shoulders and lower arms for increased abrasion resistance as well as a removable taffeta breathable membrane, which makes it shower resistant.
The removable thermo liner has two inside pockets, there are two waterproof side pockets with zip closure on the jacket and D3O CE certified Level 1 protectors at the elbows and shoulders as well as at the back as standard. Velcro at the waist and on the sleeves allows for adjustment and a short connecting zip at the back to allow any Richa trousers to be attached.

Scrambler
The Scrambler textile jacket has an outer shell made from British Millerain® Waxed cotton fabric and features antiqued brass-style fixings – including poppers, zips and waist adjustment buckles. There’s a waterproof and breathable fixed membrane and a removable quilt liner. CE certified D3O elbow and shoulder protectors are included and a pocket is built in for a back protector. Quilted checker panels on the elbows and shoulders add to the nostalgic look.
